1. How do I make reservation?
Simply call your preferred travel agent or for more information call
Halongdolphin Diamond Junk at (84-4) 37171818. When making a
reservation, we require the following information for all guests:
name, date of birth, gender, citizenship, passport number, emergency
contact number, and special needs (i.e. dietary).
2. How do I pay my cruise?
All our rates are in US Dollar. You can make payment by cash, bank
transfers or credit card (VISA, Master and AMEX).
3. How will I receive my travel documents?
As soon as your booking is confirmed and full payment has been made
our reservationist email you a Cruise voucher. For assistance please

4. How many suitcases can I bring?
Each person is allowed up to two pieces of personal luggage on
board, with each piece weighing a maximum of 30 kilograms. Should
passengers carry more than this amount, it is necessary to inform
our reservation staff upon booking procedure.
5. Will I need an electrical converter?
The current on board is 110 volts AC. However, some high-voltage
hair dryers, electric rollers and electric razors may require a
converter.
6. Do children cruise for free?
Yes. Children below the age of 5 years old are free of charge
(limiting to two children per one booking).
Children from the age of 5 to below 7 years old will be charged 50%
of the adult rate.
Children from the age of 7 to below 10 years old will be charged 75%
of the adult rate.
Children from the age of 10 years old pay full adult rate.
Baby Cot is free of charge and according to availability.
7. What other services are available?

8. How can we celebrate a special occasion?
We could arrange wine, flowers or bon voyage gifts, such as fruit
baskets, champagne, birthday cakes, or local gifts for your
celebration. We can also organise other theme party on board or on
shore (barbeque on the beach) upon advanced request. Please let us
know at least two weeks before cruising.
9. What can’t I bring onboard?
Passenger is not allowed to bring on board the vessel any
intoxicating liquors, or beverages, firearms, weapons of any kind,
ammunition, explosive substances or any goods of a dangerous nature,
nor animals of any kind, except service or guide animals, provided
the passenger notifies Carrier prior to the cruise of his intention
to bring such animal and agrees to take sole responsibility for any
expense, damage, injuries or losses associated with or caused by
such animal.
10. Any dress requirement?
No. Comfortable is the word. Just make sure your wear anything
comfortable and up your style.

12. What if I am vegetarian?
We pride ourselves on serving fresh, creative. For the convenience
of our passengers, menus are displayed in room and in dining room.
We are happy to accommodate certain dietary restrictions provided we
are notified in advance. Refreshments and snacks are available 24
hours a day in the lounge and dining room.
13. Do itinerary changes?
Every effort will be made to follow the published itinerary – wind,
weather, emerald water and the good nature providing. Marguerite
reserves the right to change, omit or add stops, change the route
due to unforeseen circumstances.
14. Are charters available?
Yes. Choose existing itineraries or perhaps customize your own!
Check out our junks which accommodate up to 24 guests. Please ask
your travel agent or contact us for special charter and group
tariffs.
15. Can I get group discounts?
Yes. You may save up to 10% for group booking. Please contact us for
best deal.
16. What is your cancellation policy?
Any change/ amendment of existing booking shall be considered as
cancellation and a new booking shall be made. Penalty charge shall
apply accordingly based on charge of each cancelled cabin as per
below percentage:
Cancellation per person upon cancellation
48 hours before departure date: No charge
Less than 2 days: 30% of fare
Less than 1 day – Now Show: 80% of fare
17. Do I need to bring money on board?
Although our cruise fare includes mostly everything, you still
should carry extra cash for personal expenditure such as drinks at
bar, snacks or other personal services. Cash should be in Vietnam
dong or US dollar. Credit card (VISA, Master) is also accepted on
our junks.
18. What does my cruise fare include?
Your cruise fares cover so much for your convenience. Check out our
cruises unbeatable value for money.
19. When is the best time to visit Halong ?
Literally ANY TIME
20. What kind of food served onboard?
Our delicious meals combine a perfect balance of Halong Bay
specialty fresh seafood and traditional Vietnamese dishes. Western
cuisine is also served. If you are allergic with seafood or have any
dietary request, please inform us in advance.
21. Do we have to bring passport for sleeping aboard?
Yes. You have to bring your passport with you on boat and please
provide us your full names, gender, passport number, visa expire
date before your departure to Halong Bay.
22. Where does the boat anchor at night time?
Our cruises always try to find a quiet, calm area surrounded by the
isles to anchor over night (within permitted area for overnight
boat).
23. Can we sleep outside on the top deck of the boat?
Yes. Please check with cruise manager to know if the weather is fine
for deck sleep. All comfortable beddings however are not allowed to
be brought outside. A late night watching starry sky and the mystery
of nocturne on the bay should already be a great end of the day.
24. How many caves in Halong will we visit?
Our cruise travels amongst the countless number of islands and isles
in Halong bay. Our 2 days 1 night tour schedules to stop and visit
ONE cave – one of the biggest in the bay. If you wish to visit more,
please let our reservationist know prior to departure and please be
informed extra fee applies. In the unexpected circumstance, the
captain’s instruction should be followed. Cave visit or extra cruise
can be canceled without prior notice.
25. Do you have life jackets on each junk?
Safety is priority in our cruise. That’s why all our junks are
equipped with adequate life jackets.
